"Strive to be a proven leader..."

"Let um' hate, I don't see it. Nothin sticks!"

“It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.”

“I hope that someday we will be able to put away our fears and prejudices and just laugh at people.”

Dressman's Week 12 Fantasy Forecast

As we head into week 12 in CHA fantasy football, some bubble teams hope to make the playoffs while a few others look for some respect.

Highlighting the matchups this weekend, division foes John “ready to hurt somebody” Ramko heads to Jason “just please like me” Mclash territory. With Reggie Bush inactive again this week, it looks like Ramko will be hurting for Backs. Both teams are struggling at quarterback so they’ll have to look elsewhere for some points this week.
Wisler “will I get back to the championship” and Mike “make the light go away” Hyres battle for the Division title. Both teams look to have some easy opponents this week and if one team wins and the other loses, the other team may be praying for the wildcard.
Brandon “sore loser” Sifrar hopes to get a win to wrap up the South Division but is a heavy underdog against McLain “83 signups” Spann. Brandon Sifrar is used to losing (unless he cheats as he was impeached as commissioner in 05’for some shady post season pickups) when it comes down to playoff time. Sifrar who has been a consistent choker in the league and has yet to win a title looks for a win to get a 1st round bye.
Woody “why do I always pick a teamful of Dolphins every year” Estep looks to challenge Sifrar for the 1st round bye. Estep looks to have the golden horshoe in his @#$ as picking a teamful of Dolphins at the beginning of the season looked to be the league gaffe (who would’ve thunk it). Tyhler “tired of losing” Gomez made a last minute trade for quarterback in order to help secure a playoff berth but it might be too little to late. He battles Woody who has been heating up in the past couple of weeks.
Dizzle battles Alex “please don’t rob me and my lady” Benjamin for a matchup of pros vs. Joes. A.B.’s team has been hurting since LT. pooped the bed all season.
The last matchup should be a laugher as Brandon “defending champ” Dresser looks to roll over Curtis “scratch my back” Solomon who has been eliminated from playoff contention for quite sometime. Dresser can secure a 1st round bye with the win.

So who are the picks this week? I think I’ve got the winners.

Dresser over Solomon by however much he wants.
McLash over Ramko in a tight one.
McLain over Sifrar in a laugher
Wisler over Bob by 21.
Dizzle over Alex by 30.

Upset of the week: Gomez over Woody by 10

Premier VS Golds: The Neverending Debate

It's the Man Cave divided: Gold's VS Premier...an ongoing debate as to which is best gym in Tallahassee. Premier offers an indoor track, racquetball, basketball, Tropical Smoothie, and a massage Parlor. It is also known by every man as a primo hot spot for MILFs. Gold's Gym has 3 locations throughout town (one of which is located off of Pensacola St. and has more college tail than FSU's very own Leach Center), everything necessary for intense weight training, and a Smoothie Bar. Premier Gym costs a whopping $42 a month and requires yearly contracts, while Gold's is more affordable, offering plans as low as $14.99 per month, no contracts, and free guests. So which gym is better? We suppose its up to what you look for in a gym. Are you the kinda of 'dude' that's into cucumber facials and cougars? Maybe Premier is right for you. Perhaps you are like most of us who can't afford the heavy fee, but like to focus on being jacked without getting jipped. Either way it's the Cave divided. Voice your opinion on ManCaveWeekly.

Annual Veterans Day Golf Tournament

As Seen Above: Dresser shooting for par on the 18th hole.
The 1st Annual Veterans Day Golf Scramble was played last Tuesday at Golden Eagle Country Club, in Tallahassee Florida. The match winners are Dressman, Alex, B.O.B., and Wisler. When ManCaveWeekly asked this years champs, what was to be made of their winnings, Dressman replied "I'm using it to pay off my unusually high water utility bill." Alex is going to spend his earnings on online gambling. B.O.B. purchased two Boston Butts and a fifth of Gold Schlagger, while Wisler went to Macy's to buy a new Kangol hat. The hat is egg shell white, and 100% imported Egyptian cotton. The inside is Satin. Congrats to our first annual V-Day golf Champs and a big "thank you" to our CEO, whose name shall remain anonymous for privacy reasons.

FSU Football at It's Finest

Florida State has suspended five players for Saturday's home game against Boston College after their involvement in an on-campus brawl earlier this week, coach Bobby Bowden said in a statement released Friday by the university.
"The police report has not been concluded, but from the information that I have gathered, I am suspending five players who were apparently involved in the fray," Bowden said in the statement. "Taiwan Easterling, Bert Reed, Corey Surrency, Cameron Wade and Richard Goodman will all be suspended for the Boston College game."
Easterling, Reed and Surrency all are receivers who have played integral roles in Florida State's offense this season. The trio has combined for 51 catches, 722 yards and eight touchdowns as the Seminoles (7-2, 4-2 ACC Atlantic with Wake Forest) face a crucial test Saturday in their quest to reach the conference championship game.
Wade is a redshirt freshman who has one catch this season, and Goodman is a senior receiver who hasn't started this year.
This is the third time this season Bowden has had to suspend a receiver, as both Reed and Surrency have missed games. Surrency was suspended for the Georgia Tech game for an undisclosed violation of team rules, and Reed was suspended for the game against Virginia Tech for violating the school's academic attendance policy.
Florida State police were called to a large fight involving Seminoles football players and members of the Phi Beta Sigma fraternity near the student union at 12:37 p.m. on Wednesday. No charges have been made, but as of Friday, police were still continuing the investigation.
Police have determined that a female bystander who wasn't involved in the fight was struck in the face by a chair that was thrown. She was treated and released from a local hospital. Police said the current priority in their investigation is identifying who threw the chair.
